Study Results: Brands Mocking Competitors are Blacklisted

According to a study by Sprout Social, consumers do not like companies mocking their competitors in social media. This finding is true for 67% of respondents. The greatest annoyance, however, is caused by brands making jokes about consumers themselves (88% of respondents). The second most frustrating practice is brands talking about politics (71%). 

Sixty-nine percent (69%) do not like it when companies use slang; 83% of users like videos. Also, respondents appreciate it when brands build a dialogue with the client. Sixty-six percent (66%) support brands raising actual issues, and 58% prefer gif-images.
