A new round of the World Bank Enterprise Survey (WBES) as part of the flagship Business Ready (B-READY) report
A new round of the World Bank Enterprise Survey (WBES) is beginning in Kyrgyzstan as part of the flagship Business Ready (B-READY) report
WBES is a global program that has been collecting comparable enterprise-level data in more than 150 countries and economies worldwide for over 20 years, providing a deeper understanding of the business environment.
From September 21 to 25, our entire project team—including management, supervisors, and field interviewers—underwent intensive training on research methodology, sampling, and research tools.
This study helps provide a more comprehensive picture of the business environment in Kyrgyzstan, including the challenges faced by businesses, the conditions under which they operate, and the factors that contribute to increased productivity, investment attraction, and private sector development.
Qualitative data is key to understanding where improvements are needed and to developing solutions and measures aimed at creating a more favorable business environment.
As we move into the data collection phase, we look forward to close cooperation with representatives of the private sector. The experiences and opinions of businesses form the foundation of this study and are essential to ensuring that its results accurately reflect the actual conditions of doing business in Kyrgyzstan.
